Itinerary

Day 1: Balmaceda - Coihaique
Meeting at Balmaceda Airport, private transfer to Mincho Lodge in Coihaique.
Stay for 7 nights at Mincho Lodge on full board basis. Afternoon at leisure.
In the evening briefing of the programme for the following days
Day 2: Full day fishing in Nirehuao River
Day 3: Full day fishing at Blue River and Blue Lake
Day 4: Full day fishing in Cerro Castillo Area and Tamango Lake
Day 5: Full day fishing in Cerro Castillo Area na Alto Lake
Day 6: Full day fishing at Misterioso Lake
Day 7: Full Day fishing at Misterioso Lake

Day 8: Coihaique Transfer to Balmaceda airport to board your onward flight

 

Southern Chile offers great fishing from October until April. The rivers lakes, and streams located south of Temuco are abundant with brown and rainbow trout.

Accommodation will be at Mincho Lodge, famous for its personalised service and excellent food and wines.

Julio Meyer will be in charge of your fishing excursions providing the best guides in fly-fishing.

The fishing excursions will include the Simpson and Nirehuao River and many small lakes, some of them accessible only by horse.
