A mere 75 Kilometres from Santiago, it is the perfect base for those who want to relax and to explore the Andes by means of a range of activities such as horseriding in the nearby mountains or trekking the area of El Morado Glacier. There are interesting easier walks for those who wish to take a more relaxed approach and for those interested in flora and birdwatching.
Lodge Andino is set in a colonial style house and has 8 double rooms with private facilities, sitting areas, dining room, a pool and beautiful and well-maintained gardens.
We have put together a 3-day programme which offers the opportunity to visit El Yeso Reservoir, located at 3,000 metres, a local vineyard and a choice of trekking or horseriding. There is ample time to relax and walk amid the native vegetation. The stay is on a full board basis including delicious typical meals such as corn pie and Chilean empanadas as well as Pisco Sour and an excellent selection of Chilean wines.
